API backs resolution to block EPA from regulating carbon emissions
The American Petroleum Institute was among the oil and natural gas groups that signed a letter expressing support of Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s, R-Alaska, resolution against the Environmental Protection Agency’s plan to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions. Energy prices could increase and many jobs would be affected under the agency’s proposal, according to the letter.
